#MySundayPhoto – Stepping back in time / Voyage dans le temps
The acorns eagerly squeezed through the 5,000 year old stone passage of the little-known neolithic cairn which caps the summit of Seefin Hill (alt. 650m/2,132ft), west Wicklow.
One of five similar passage tombs in the area, Seefin supplied the white quartz stone used to build Newgrange, in the Boyne Valley, Co Meath.
Ooo I want to see what’s inside
Thank you for linking up
Lol there’ll be plenty more pictures in the upcoming blog post, including of the inside of the passage tomb. 😉
